About me II

About me II

Creative Collection

When, while the lovely valley teems with vapour around me, and the meridian sun strikes the upper surface of the impenetrable foliage of my trees.

The end is never the end is never the end.

From an early age, I felt like a photographer. The world, to me, appeared drenched in muted sepia tones thanks to the relentless cigarette smoking from Grandma. My childhood home was a shrine to the mundane, with walls covered in faded photos that could make you weep from their sheer ordinariness. Even today, my clothes still carry the musty aroma of that wood paneling, my scent much like a homemade photo button that say says, “I’ve seen some things.” And I have.

My camera? We get along much better these days. We don’t do weddings, graduations, or anything that makes people smile politely. Not any more. We’re all about capturing the extraordinary banality of life now.

The people I photograph aren’t just subjects in a photograph. There’s Saucy Veronica, the ex-roller derby queen who now spends her days knitting sweaters for her god damn army of pet rocks. And then there’s the Duke, the part-time mechanic who strips down to his birthday suit and reads Shakespeare under the hood of a ’72 Gremlin while eating pretzel rods.

What does it all mean? Reds are my rage against the machine, blues are my existential dread, and greens are my fleeting moments of hope. My mission? To document the raw, unfiltered essence of humanity. Each click of my shutter is a desperate attempt to scream into the void, capturing fleeting moments of beauty and chaos before the light of the Earth goes out.

Or maybe I just like taking pictures.

Skills & Perspectives

  1. Skilled at assembling the ultimate road trip mixtape.
  2. Even though I have to look past the sexism, which I don’t condone, I like watching the old Price is Right episodes.
  3. Banana-flavored milkshakes are usually my favorite, but sometimes it’s cherry.
